BRRP providing snocross tickets to first 50 who registered for SnowJam 2013

The first 50 people to register for SnowJam 2013 on Feb 23 will receive a free ticket to the ISOC Nationals snocross race on Sunday, March 10 at Buffalo River Race Park, near Glyndon, MN.  These tickets have a face value of $15.

These tickets will be included FREE with your $15 registration free for SnowJam, which will get you entrance into the SnowJam trail ride or into the vintage snowmobile display. Cost is $15 per sled.

If you are not one of the first 50 to register, you will still have a chance for snocross ticket. We will have more tickets to give away as prizes that evening during the social and ride results.

Prizes, of course we’ve got prizes!

Prizes, including cash, snowmobiling gear and many other items are a hallmark of what we’ve built as part of a successful SnowJam, and 2013 will be no exception.

About SnowJam

SnowJam 2014, the area’s premier snowmobile trail ride, has been scheduled, and we hope you are there with us for this event. The event will be Saturday, Feb 15, on the Cass County ND trail system, with event headquarters at Hagge’s Bar and Grill, Mapleton, ND. This is the 7th annual SnowJam event.

Snowmobile Trail Ride

The snowmobile trail ride will start and end in Mapleton, ND, following more than 100 miles of freshly-groomed trail spanning across Cass County. In addition to the trail  ride and vintage snowmobile display, the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club is   working on several other activities for the ride, including cash   prizes, hundreds of drawings and door prizes and social activities and a   band at Hagge’s  following the ride. And, area businesses throughout the   county are gearing up for the additional snowmobile traffic expected that   day.

Ryan Mayer Vintage Snowmobile Ride and Display

Vintage snowmobile enthusiasts with models that are 1988 or older are   invited to participate in this display and ride. During the show, prizes that   will be awarded will include Best of Show and People’s Choice. In addition, the Ryan Mayer Vintage Snowmobile Ride showcasing the   vintage snowmobiles will take place from Hagge’s.

Evening Social

Enjoy food served all day by Hagge’s Bar and Grill. Stay into the evening for entertainment by a local band.

Please refrain from bringing helmets inside Hagge’s Bar and Grill that evening. Space inside will be limited.

FAQ

Q: I am not from the area. What hotels do you recommend?

A: Reserve a room at the Governors Inn, Casselton. This is a great local hotel that is located directly on the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club trail. And, it has a fun waterpark.  


Q: Can I register early for SnowJam 2012?

A: You can print the registration form, fill it out at home and bring it with you to speed up the registration process that Saturday


 

Q: Do I need to license my vintage snowmobile to ride it in the vintage ride?

A: You can obtain a collector snowmobile license at no charge by completing this form: http://www.dot.nd.gov/docs/motorvehicle/SFN54339.pdf


Q: I’m not from North Dakota. Will I need a permit to ride?

A: Out-of-state residents will need a North Dakota trail permit. The permit costs $15 per year. Out of state permits may be ordered online at https://www.idctech.net/Snowmobile.

Out-of-State Permits are also available at state park offices.


Q: What if there is no snow?

A:  Let’s cross that bridge once winter hits.
